*cherishing usually consists of pledging to catch up on all those things you just can't quite fit into the rest of your normal week - cleaning your room, writing that extra essay, sleeping, blogging - and then proceeding to not do them.
But this weekend was a little extra special. My roommate from last semester, Alex, invited her current and some former roommates, myself included, to her parents' ranch in Wyoming for the holiday. It was so much darned fun to be with all of those girls and just spend a few days being outside.
On the way to Wyoming - I haven't sat in the front middle seat since we got red of the big orange suburban! |
Back from a very wet and hail-filled quad ride |
It was too wet all weekend to build a bonfire, but Charlotte and I made s'mores in the oven |
We herded cows on Monday. This two-day-old calf was following behind the rest a little slowly, so we took it with us |
Actually, I'm not that considerate. The only reason they're not posted is because I forgot to get any.
So.... do you still wanna be a farmer?
ReplyDeletewow, that sounds just like how I spent my long weekend. Minus the quads... and the smores... oh, and no cows either. Yup, almost identical!
ReplyDeleteHahaha LISA! And I am curious as well...still think Farm Wife is your calling?
